RESEARCH

The research I am involved in is primarily focused on the methodology of social sciences with a special interest in survey research. I am doing my research under the flag of the Amsterdam School of Communication Research [ASCoR], who provide the research and management support. The focus of my PhD. project is on the response process, i.e. the process induced by the survey question which generates a respondent’s response. Other research interests are the quality of survey questions, structural equation modeling, immigrants & ethnocentrism, political tolerance, social capital, political communication, and public opinion.
